Tyrie Cleveland

Florida wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland had a lot of hype heading into this season.

He was going to be one of the anchors of this extremely talented receiving corps.

The problem is, that just hasn’t happened yet.

To date, Cleveland has 183 yards on 13 receptions — which leads to a team-high of 14.1 yards per catch.

However, he’s not being utilized as much as he should be.

That leads to the biggest question: Why not?

It could be because Cleveland typically draws the opposing teams’ best corner, leading to very tight coverage. However, you would think he would have an ability to shake that from time to time.

Also, with the emergence of Pitts, Freddie Swain, Van Jefferson and Josh Hammond, getting touches has become increasingly difficult for Cleveland.
