First of all, it’s the Southeastern Conference. There are those that loathe Florida football and vice-versa. But, there’s a special place somewhere for and LSU fan.

Breathe it in everyone. It’s the week where No. 7 Florida football travels to Baton Rouge to take on No. 5 LSU.

But, more importantly, now that we are over the win against Auburn, we can get drunk off our collective hate of LSU fans.

Yup, there’s a special place somewhere (and you can probably figure out where) for the LSU fan.

It is a species of people that pretend to know a lot, but actually know very little.

Remember when LSU fans clamored for what would have been a game in Gainesville to be moved to Baton Rouge because of a hurricane?

Yeah, that one’s not going away anytime soon.

Then, today, this happened:

First off, Joe Burrow does bear a striking resemblance to someone. I just can’t put my finger on it.

Oh wait.

No, that’s not it.

How about …

(Pardon the language here) But, no that’s not it either.

Hang on … I got something.

Yup, that’s it.

So, Joe Burrow and Co. don’t like Florida football very much. Well, fair enough. I imagine the sentiment is likewise going the other way.

Say what you will about Burrow’s and his arm, but that face does kind of deserve to be planted into the ground by a member of the Florida football defense, doesn’t it?

And, seriously, at the end of the video, the LSU player couldn’t even remember it was Feleipe Franks who fired up the crowd last year?

Oh, how I wish LSU is preparing for Franks because they’ll be somewhat shocked come Saturday.

However, I’m sure the news that Franks is out for the season has reached Baton Rouge by now. It’s been, what, nearly a month?

But, let’s be clear, Burrow has very impressive stats.

However, we also need to run down the opposition:

  • Georgia Southern — ranked 90th in FBS in total defense (that’s just a shade better than Rutgers).
  • Texas — No. 102 in total defense (yup, worse than Georgia Southern).
  • Northwestern State — not ranked.
  • Vanderbilt — ranked 125th in the country in total defense (are you seeing a trend here?).
  • Utah State — also not ranked.

Whereas Florida football has the No. 17 defense in the country.

So, go ahead young buck, you keep talking trash and guaranteeing wins.

We’ll just be waiting for Saturday.

Let the “we hate LSU” week officially begin! By the way, your hate of LSU is greatly appreciated in the comment section below.

dark. Next. Kyle Trask expected to play Saturday against LSU

No. 5 LSU will host No. 7 Florida at 8 p.m. Saturday at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge.
