Kyle Trask
As I said before, Trask took control of the Florida offense and they seemed to respond well to the redshirt junior.
Coming into the game against Tennessee, it would have been easy for the offense to work on cohesiveness and continue to learn to work together.
However, Trask came out and looked like he had been running the offense for half a season, not just a quarter.
Trask completed his first four passes of the game and found a nice target in tight end Kyle Pitts.
As players like Kadarius Toney get healthy, you will see more targets for Trask and the passing game. That only benefits Florida football as a whole.
Brett Heggie
The Florida football offensive lineman was recently named the SEC Offensive Player of the Week, which is pretty remarkable considering how the offensive line has performed in certain circumstances this season.
But, Heggie has helped the Gators to 313 passing yards and 441 total yards of offense against Tennessee. Let’s not forget Florida has thrown for 250 or more yards in all four of their games this season.
I have to admit I was a Doubting Thomas when it came to the offensive line this season.
However, I can see improvement, even if it isn’t as fast as I think it should be.
