Vanderbilt (0-1) at Purdue (0-1)

When and where: 12 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7 at Ross-Ade Stadium in West Lafayette, Indiana.

On the air: Big 10 Network with Kevin Kugler, Matt Millen and Rick Pizzo.

Outlook: The Commodores had little success with much of anything in a 30-6 loss to Georgia — outside of holding the Bulldogs to JUST 30 points. Purdue, on the other hand, were stunned by Brandon Talton’s 56-yard field goal for Nevada as the Wolfpack defeated Purdue 34-31 (Oh, as a feel-good, that kicker earned a full scholarship after the game). Purdue likes to sling the football around as quarterback Elijah Sindelar had 423 yards passing and four touchdowns in the loss. That was more than Vanderbilt had in total offense (225) against Georgia.

The Last Line: If you can avoid watching this game, I would. The biggest things here is Matt Millen on color commentary and the Boilermakers will dedicate the Tyler Trent Student Gate before the game. If you don’t know Tyler, watch this and hold back the tears (I’m not crying … you’re crying):
