Tulane (1-0) at No. 10 Auburn (1-0)

When and where: 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7 at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Alabama.

On the air: ESPN2 with Jason Benetti, Rod Gilmore and Quint Kessenich.

Outlook: Auburn came out and did what it was supposed to Saturday against Oregon — come back and win the game. By the way, I actually covered Tulane head coach Willie Fritz when he was at Central Missouri and I covered Pittsburg State (for those of you who care). Auburn quarterback Bo Nix (love that name) opened his freshman campaign going 13-for-31 with 177 yards and two touchdowns. He also had a pair of interceptions.

The Last Line: Auburn had to battle back against a stingy Oregon team. Tulane is no Oregon and the Tigers should have little issue Saturday.
