CB-C.J Henderson

The only player on the Florida Gators to make the first team Preseason All-SEC team. Henderson is not only one of the best defensive backs in the SEC, but one of the best on the country.

He had 38 tackles,  three sacks, two interceptions, seven pass breakups and forced two fumbles. He is poised to be the main guy to go up against a Miami receiving core that is every bit as good as the one he sees every day in practice.

One of Henderson’s best skills is his ability to close on the ball.

That is an important skill for a cornerback to have. this is the difference in an eight-yard gain for a first or a  third-down pass deflection.

Miami receivers like to take a slant for a quick pick-up and C.J is the best at not letting that happen. His match-ups all game will definitely be one to watch.
