Left Tackle

Stone (what a great first name for a football player) Forsythe is the epitome of patience as he has waited for his chance to start full-time for the Gators.

The redshirt junior did get playing time in all 13 games last season for Florida and did start against Charleston Southern. But, like a lot of the first-time starters on the line, Forsythe spent a lot of time working with special teams and the reserve line.

Forsythe did get the first start of his collegiate career against Alabama-Birmingham in the 2017 season — he started and played in the last two games for the season at right tackle for the Gators.

His backup:

Redshirt sophomore T.J. Moore is a good prospect to be the backup to Forsythe. The redshirt sophomore did get some playing time against Charleston Southern and Idaho last season after redshirting in 2017.
