Guz Malzahn has been with Arkansas, Tulsa, Auburn, Arkansas State and back to Auburn since 2006.

In 12 years, Malzahn has faced the Gators twice.

In 2006, Florida defeated Arkansas (of whom Malzahn was the offensive coordinator) in the Southeastern Conference championship game.

Then, in 2011, as offensive coordinator at Auburn, Malzahn’s defense held Florida to six points in a 17-6 win.

Interesting enough, this season will be the first Malzahn will face Florida as a head coach.

His overall record against the Gators: 1-1.
