Tennessee head coach Jeremy Pruitt had a difficult first season with the Volunteers and this season may not be much better.

But, Pruitt has been around for a bit.

He was a graduate assistant at Alabama in 1997 before bouncing between a few high schools before taking over defensive backs at Alabama in 2010.

In his two seasons in that position, Alabama went 2-0 against the Gators.

Then, in 2013, he spent a season as the defensive coordinator at Florida State. The Seminoles beat the Gators that season.

In 2014, Pruitt went to Georgia as defensive coordinator and defensive backs. The Gators beat the Bulldogs in both seasons in the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party.

Pruitt went back to Alabama for the 2016 and 2017 seasons. The Gators lost to Alabama once in those two seasons.

Of course, in his first season at the helm of Tennessee, the Gators knocked off Tennessee, 26-20 at Neyland Stadium.

His overall mark against Florida: 4-3.
