Florida football: How the 2019 opposing coaches have fared against the Gators

Another coach who has been around the country as a coordinator or coach is current Florida State head coach Willie Taggart.

Stints at Western Kentucky (twice), Stanford, South Florida and Oregon since 1999 and he never faced Florida football.

It wasn’t until last year that Taggart faced the Gators and it was most likely an unforgettable meeting for Taggart and the Seminoles.

The 41-14 win for the Gators was one of many beatings Florida State took in Taggart’s first season.
