The Dooley dilemma

If there was anyone who had the Gators’ number, it was former Georgia head coach Vince Dooley.

In 25 games against the Gators from 1964 to 1988, Dooley had 17 wins, seven losses and one tie. Needless to say, Dooley kind of owned the Gators.

Interestingly enough, he never lost to Florida in back-to-back years.

The Gators had four coaches during Dooley’s time with the Bulldogs. No matter who it was, no one could seem to get Dooley’s number on a consistent basis.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t really hate Dooley. He was just a better coach with better teams.

But, I certainly don’t speak for all Gator fans.

Next. Is Miami really a rival for Florida?. dark

Of course, I have other things on the list, but I want to hear what you have to say. What do you hate about the Georgia football team? Let me know in the comments below!
