Florida football: The Georgia things Gator fans love to hate

Remember the “Gator Stomp?”

This one sticks in the craw of many a thousand Gator fan.

In 2007, following Knowshon Moreno’s first-quarter touchdown, the entire Georgia football team amassed in the end zone and celebrated.

Just in case you forgot:

After two unsportsmanlike conduct penalties, the Bulldogs seemed more fired up. Afterward, Georgia coach Mark Richt admitted he told his team to draw the penalty.

Well, whatever it conjured up, it worked as Georgia beat Tim Tebow and the Gators, 42-30.

Of course, in the next matchup, Florida coach Urban Meyer led the Gators to a 49-10 beating of Georgia, and went so far as to use two timeouts to allow his team and the fans more time to celebrate scores:
