Despite committing to the Florida Gators, a three-star defensive end/linebacker is planning to visit rival Tennessee in the coming weeks.

Apparently, in college sports, commitments are somewhat flexible.

One case in point is with three-star linebacker/defensive end Morven Joseph. According to 247Sports, the Lake Gibson High School, and Gator commit prospect is planning a visit to Knoxville, Tennessee sometime in the next few weeks.

He has also listed Georgia, Virginia, Auburn, Alabama, Miami and Florida State along with the Gators as schools he plans to visit.

Joseph, a 6-foot-2, 210-pound defensive specialist committed to the Gators in mid-February. According to 247Sports, he is ranked as the No. 472 overall prospect and No. 17 weakside linebacker in its 247Sports Composite for the Class of 2020.

Tennessee offered Joseph a scholarship on April 30, which has opened the floodgates of offers. 247Sports says nearly 25 teams are in pursuit of his services.

He said he has visited Georgia and Virginia already as well as attended Florida State’s annual spring game in April.

"“Most of the schools that have still been recruiting me say they are going to stay after me,” Joseph said in March, as quoted by 247Sports. “I am committed to Florida still, though. I’m solid. The coaches just show me a lot of love at Florida. I like how the school is, too.”"

Joseph attended the annual Gator Grill Out on the weekend of May 18 and, he said he was still committed to the Gators.

He added that “he was excited to end his recruitment early, although he planned at the time to take more visits.”

Joseph would be a solid addition at linebacker for the Gators who have David Reece II and Rayshad Jackson graduating after this season. Jonathan Greenard is a graduate student while Jeremiah Moon, Kylan Johnson, Lacedrick Brunson, James Houston IV and Ventrell Miller are redshirt underclassmen.

He possesses a lot of quickness from the outside and can move fast off the ball.
