5. Jarrad Davis

Davis is a senior linebacker who is slated as going in the first round in some NFL mock drafts, but to me, he hasn’t shown first round potential up to this point in the season. Last week against Tennessee, Davis got beat on Eathan Wolf’s touchdown, which cut the Gators’ lead to 21-10.

Now it wasn’t all Davis’ fault that his defense gave up 325 yards in the second half to the Vols, but Florida’s defense is significantly better when Davis is in the opponents back field stuffing running backs and putting pressure on opposing QB’s.

The Gators still possess the number two ranked rush defense in the SEC, but Davis and Co. will have their hands full with Gainesville native, Ralph Webb, who leads the SEC in rushing yards (472 yards).
