5 Must-Watch Games For The Florida Gators In 2016
By Trevor Lowry
1. Sept. 24 @Tennessee
The Tennessee Volunteers appear to be back. Butch Jones has recruited like a boss, and it appears that this will be the year that everything finally pays off. The Volunteers are ranked No. 10 in the Coaches Poll for the preseason, after all.
Just to make matters worse, Florida will have to play the Vols on the road.
In 2015, the Gators barely escaped Tennessee. They won by the score of 28-27 and they erased a 13-point deficit in the fourth quarter.
The Volunteers are the team to beat in the East entering 2016, QB Joshua Dobbs and RB Jalen Hurd will be back and the Gators will truly have to be on their A game if they plan on pulling off the early-season upset.
Although this contest is very early in the season (this is only the fourth game for Florida), this battle will let fans know how good this Gators team can be, and if they will compete for SEC and national titles in 2016.
