2. Nick Chubb, RB , Georgia

Nick Chubb could have won the Heisman last season. Unfortunately, he went down with a nasty leg injury.

Your guess is as good as mine on how Chubb will look in the first game of the season, and if he will be able to play at the same level as he did before his brutal injury.

Nonetheless, Chubb is still one of the most talented RBs in the game.

The stats don’t lie: Chubb had 747 rushing yards and seven touchdowns in 2015. The year before, he racked up 1,547 yards and 14 TDs on the ground. Although Todd Gurley was a machine at Georgia, Chubb made fans forget about him in a hurry.

Chubb didn’t compete against the Gators last season, but he did in 2014, and he had quite the performance in a losing effort (156 rushing yards, one rushing TD, 59 receiving yards and one receiving TD).

Next: 1. Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU
