R.I.P. NCAA Football (1993-2013)

It’s been a little over two years since the sports/video game world experienced a disheartening and shocking death that still reverberates to this day.

I’m talking about the last release  of EA Sports’ NCAA Football video game series that occurred on July 9, 2013.

We haven’t seen another edition of the popular video game series due to the highly publicized legal battle that the NCAA went through over the use of player likenesses.

After the SEC, Big Ten and Pac-12 announced they would not license their trademarks to EA Sports, the writing was on the wall for NCAA Football.

But what if the series was brought back?

What if NCAA Football 16 was released right now?

Fans love to argue and debate over player ratings as soon as games like Madden are released so I have to ask the question: who would be the highest rated Gators in NCAA Football 16 if it was brought back into production?

Here are my top-5 rated Gator players should EA Sports decide to magically create NCAA Football 16 a month before the 2015 football season kicks off.

As you can probably guess, the defense is getting lot’s of love from me.
