It’s amazing how a good, impact player like Brian Poole can be overshadowed on the Gators defense.

To be fair, Vernon Hargreaves III casts a major silhouette over Poole but the former 4-star cornerback can provide some sparklers of his own when he has the opportunity.

Poole actually had 45 tackles (three behind the scrimmage) and had four interceptions in 2014, which was a team-high and was good for 4th in the SEC.

He even took a pick back for a touchdown and had a team-leading 10 pass defenses.

While Poole may not have the coverage skills that Hargreaves possesses, he’s still able to hold his own and provide a show for Gator fans.
