Florida Gators
If you’re shopping for fans of the Florida Gators and need a last minute gift idea, consider this player ring from the 2008 national championship football team for sale on Ebay. While you may say no price can be put on the memories of the Tim Tebow led team that beat Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl, but one member of that squad in fact put that price at $3,999.
Made from “non-gold,” the ring was made by Jostens and is for sale through eBay seller “championshipmemorabilia,” which does not identify which player was issued the ring. The ring comes with a letter of authenticity and the seller said it could be sold at a retail price of $7,500.
As you see, the championship ring features championship caliber quality and design, with blue highlights accenting the raised diamond numeral “one,” which is where the Gators finished in both the AP and BCS polls.
Fans looking for a cheaper option should consider the 2008 SEC Championship replica ring. The Florida Gators got that one for beating Alabama. Sweet!
Want to go even more retro? There’s a 1996 SEC Championship replica ring for just $40. Outta sight! Add a visor and you’re on your way to the full Steve Spurrier effect, national championship style.
