Spurrier Still Focused on Offense: The South Carolina Gamecocks have lost four straight SEC games, with notable a lack of defense, highlighted by their last -minute let down loss to Tennessee two weeks ago. Defensive players say they are looking for chemistry but Gamecock head coach Steve Spurrier said his focus will continue to be on the offense, where South Carolina has excelled this season. Harris Gets His Award: Florida Gator quarterback Treon Harris was named SEC co-freshman of the week after his 215 yard passing, 53 yard rushing performance against Vanderbilt last Saturday. (Miami Herald)

No More Orr: Defensive tackle Leon Orr will not rejoin the Gators after a bizarre incident Saturday where he was sent home from Nashville by bus before the game. Coach Will Muschamp said there was nothing that Orr could do to return to the team. (Orlando Sentinel)

Dunbar Steps Up: Senior wide receiver Quinton Dunbar had seen his playing time reduced after poor play earlier this season, but he got another chance against Vanderbilt and took advantage of it, grabbing four catches for a career high 97 yards. (Gator Clause, Miami Herald)

Driskel Keeps Working: Quarterback Jeff Driskel lost his starting job after the 42-13 loss to Missouri on Oct. 18, but he told the media he is staying involved with the team and will be ready if his number is called. (Tampa Bay Times)

Hill Up for a Cousy: Florida sophomore guard Kasey Hill is on the watch list for the 2015 Bob Cousy Collegiate Point Guard of the Year award. Hill was a 2013 McDonald’s High School All-American (GatorZone)

Gator Soccer at Home Vs Mercer: The Florida Gator soccer team will host Mercer this Sunday at 2 p.m. in first round NCAA tournament game. The Gators enter the tournament as a No. 2 seed in the region. (GatorZone)
