Former Florida Gator Joakim Noah Puts Up Two Triple-Doubles in Three Games

Despite being nicked up, Joakim Noah continues his great season. Noah posted a triple-double in two out of the past three games for the Chicago Bulls. Other former Gators also put up solid numbers despite dealing with an illness. Here’s how the 12 Gators in the NBA fared:
Bradley Beal (2011-2012), Washington Wizards
Beal had a solid four games this past week, averaging 16.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3 assists. Beal had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds in last Tuesday’s triple overtime win over the Toronto Raptors.
Matt Bonner (1999-2003), San Antonio Spurs
Bonner played in two out of three games for the Spurs, scoring only two points total. He also added six rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal between the two games.
Corey Brewer (2004-2007), Minnesota Timberwolves
Brewer injured his hand Monday night, but it didn’t prove to slow him down. He finished with 16 points Monday and Wednesday, with his best game coming Wednesday against the New York Knicks. Brewer notched 16 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 block. He averaged 15 points, 3.3 boards, 1.3 dimes, and 1.3 steals in three games.
Nick Calathes (2007-2009), Memphis Grizzlies
Calathes played all four games for the Grizzlies, averaging 19 minutes, 5 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 3.8 assists. His best game came Wednesday when he had 10 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals against the Brooklyn Nets.
Mike Miller (1998-2000), Memphis Grizzlies
Miller saw action in four games, but was held scoreless in two of them. He averaged 7.3 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 16.8 minutes.
Udonis Haslem (1998-2002), Miami Heat
Haslem did not see the court for the entire month of February, but has played in all three games of March. He scored a total of 5 points and 5 boards, while not seeing action for more than 5 minutes in a game.
Al Horford (2004-2007), Atlanta Hawks
Horford is out for the rest of the year after undergoing season-ending surgery to repair his right pectoral muscle.
David Lee (2001-2005), Golden State Warriors
Lee played in all four games for the Warriors despite battling an illness. He had double-doubles in Sunday’s game versus the Raptors (20 points, 11 rebounds) and Wednesday’s game against the Boston Celtics (18 points, 10 rebounds). Lee averaged 14.8 points, 8 rebounds, and 2.3 assists.
Marreese Speights (2006-2008), Golden State Warriors
Speights saw action in three out of four games this week with Golden State. His best game came against the Knicks when he scored 12 points with 1 board and 1 assist. For the week, Speights averaged 7 points and 2.3 rebounds in 9 minutes.
Erik Murphy (2009-2013), Chicago Bulls
Murphy played in one game this past week for the Bulls. He was held scoreless with 1 dime and 1 block in 4 minutes.
Joakim Noah (2004-2007), Chicago Bulls
Despite being banged up with an injured ankle and thumb, Noah continued his All-Star season. He had a triple-double in two out of his past three games. Noah notched 13 points, 12 rebounds, and 14 assists in Sunday’s win over New York and 10 points, 11 boards, and 11 dimes in Wednesday’s win against Detroit. In four games, Noah averaged 10.8 points, 9.5 boards, 7.5 assists, 1.3 blocks, and 1.5 steals.
Chandler Parsons (2007-2011), Houston Rockets
The illness bug hit Parsons this past week, as he missed Saturday’s win against the Pistons. Parsons bounced back with double-digit point totals in the last two games of the week. In those two games, he averaged 14.5 points, 5 rebounds, and 7.5 assists.
