The Greatest Gators by Jersey Number: #81 – Dallas Baker
#81 – Dallas Baker, WR (2002-06)
After having a career-high 60 catches for 920 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2006, Baker left Florida ranked near the top of all three career lists with 151 catches (fifth), 2,236 yards (sixth), and 21 touchdowns (ninth). Know as an Orange and Blue Game star, Baker put it all together in his final season, helping the Gators to a national title.
Baker was drafted in the seventh round of the 2007 NFL Draft.
Last Year’s Pick: Baker
Notable: Aaron Hernandez, TE (2007-Present)
Current Gator: Aaron Hernandez, TE
Hernandez has already made a name for himself and with two seasons of eligibility left, could go down as the greatest tight end in the history of the program. Unseating Baker may be a lofty task, but Hernandez definitely has the ability to do so.
