#85 – David Galloway, DT (1978-81)

You don’t rise to seventh on your school’s career sack list just by luck. Galloway is currently tied with Robin Fisher on Florida’s all-time list with 21 quarterback sacks. He will always be considered one of the premier interior pass rushers in Gator football history.

A second-round NFL draft pick, Galloway spent nine seasons in the pros.

Current Gator: Frankie Hammond, Jr., WR

Hammond was one of the most talked about players during offseason practices. He has world-class speed and the seeming ability to catch anything thrown his way. Only a redshirt freshman, Hammond has plenty of time to make a name for himself, but as with most receivers, there’s no guarantee he’ll stick with such a high jersey number.
