Football Could be Over for Former Gator/Current Bull Trent Pupello
On Friday, former Florida and current USF football player Trent Pupello was arrested on charges stemming from a fight that occurred on April 10. During a brawl at Channelside in Tampa, FL, Pupello allegedly broke away from the fight, got a gun, returned and fired the gun into the air before hitting three people with it (the infamous pistol-whip). He has been charged with several counts of assault and discharging a firearm.
This could mean the end of Pupello’s football career. He was already on a pseudo suspension for the 2009 season and now with these charges, it looks like he may never return.
