The recruiting never ends with Florida football, it is a part of the program. Although 2020 recruiting has slowed down it is still going on as we speak.

Like all great programs, Florida football is looking at 2021 in a big way.

Rivals have the Gators 2021 class at number three right now but Florida football has just got going.  You heard some of the big names such as Tyreak Sapp, and Trevonte Rucker but there are many more that are thinking of making Gainesville their home.

Dan Mullen and his coaching staff have been great at hitting the road and bringing in the kind of talent that is making the Gators into a major contender. The staff has offered up a few scholarships to some big-time 2021 recruits and here is a look at these future Gators.

Victory Vaka – DT

He is a 6-3, 315-pound Defensive Tackle from Westlake Village, CA. Who lives up to his name as he is used to winning.

Obviously he has the size to play big-time football but with that size comes the strength and the knowledge of how to play the game.  He can hold his man up and control the run like no other. He has great lateral movement on the line. But the way he gets into the backfield is exceptional.

Victory also seems to be very happy to have the offer from Florida football:

"“Considering Florida is one of the top schools in the SEC in the best conference in the country,” he said on what he likes about Florida. “I really like how they’re in the SEC and the quality of defensive linemen they’ve produced. I’m really interested in them.”"

This is just the kind of young man that fits in well with the Gators and the Mullen style. He comes now with a four-star rating, but I suspect by the end of next season he has five-star all over him.

He would be a great fit and will be in Gainsville during this year’s spring game. We will welcome him into Gator Nation with open arms.

Cisco Caston – S Quincy Orchard

A 6-2, 175-pound safety from Gaithersburg, MD. Two things pop right out when you see Caston, speed, and tackling.

This man has speed for days and he can hit you hard, but more important is he is a sure tackler. When he hits someone they most likely go down. Caston also possesses the ability to cover man to man and has great instinct to break on a ball.

He gained his offer in late January and he received his offer from defensive backs coach Torrian Gray. The had great conversations with them and this is what he says about what they see in him:

"“He said he offered me because he liked my size,” Caston said on why Gray wanted to offer him. “He said my speed, my competitiveness and my coming down and laying the hammer on some guys were things he liked. He told my coaches that they like my explosiveness and how I trigger to the ball.”"

Caston is not unfamiliar with UF as he has friends with knowledge but as with all once he steps foot in the Swamp he won’t want to leave. He will be a great addition to a backfield that is poised to be one of the best in football.
