The Florida Gators have done a great job at producing talent on the defensive line.

In the past three NFL drafts, a Gator defensive lineman has been taken in the first round.

In the 2015 NFL Draft, Dante Fowler Jr. became the highest selected defensive end out of Florida when the Jacksonville Jaguars took him third overall.
