100 Days of Florida Football: No. 81 Case Harrison

Case Harrison is the next featured athlete in the 100 Days of Florida Football countdown. Harrison is a redshirt freshman wide receiver from Gainesville. He didn’t travel far to attend college as he chose Florida over Mercer and Yale. Harrison was an AP scholar and Cambridge scholar in high school, hence was Yale on his short list of colleges.

Harrison was redshirted in 2013 and did not see any game action. He did however earn the Most Valuable Defensive Scout Team Award. Harrison will likely see scout team duties again in 2014 with four seniors and four juniors in the wide receiver corps.

Every team has their role players and those that work just as hard as everybody else despite not seeing the playing time. Harrison may not have any stats yet to show for his efforts, but his work ethnic did not go unnoticed, as the coaches honored him with the Scout Team Award. Guys like Harrison are critical for all college football teams and are needed when called upon.
