100 Days of Florida Football: No. 82 Bair Diamond

100 Days of Florida Football continues with number 82.  No. 82 on the Florida Gators is tight end Bair Diamond. Diamond is a redshirt sophomore from Fort Meyers, Florida.

Diamond did not see any game action in either 2012 or 2013 for the Gators. He has been behind the likes of Jordan Reed and Clay Burton on the depth chart. It will be another tough year for Diamond to reach the playing field on game day as Burton is a senior, and Jake McGee is a transfer from Virginia who will also likely compete for a starting position.

Diamond chose the University of Florida over Miami, SMU, and South Florida. He may not have the results he had been hoping for coming to play for the Gators, but every player on the roster counts, and we are glad Diamond is a Florida Gator.
