Jonotthan Harrison Discusses 2013 Disaster. Former Gators center Jonotthan Harrison talked about the disaster that was the 2013 season with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. He talks about fights nearly breaking out, partying, racial slurs, and the me-first mentality that plagued Florida’s locker room during the 2013 season. It’s an interesting read, check it out. (Tyler Dunne, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel)

Billy Donovan Won’t Go Anywhere. There’s been plenty of speculation regarding Billy Donovan and the NBA this past season. He somewhat dodged the question during the NCAA Tournament and he’s been mentioned for his hometown New York Knicks and for a reunion with Corey Brewer with the Minnesota Timberwolves. But Billy D isn’t going anywhere. (David Jones, Florida Today)

2015 LB Recruit Adonis Thomas Impressed with Florida. After visiting UF numerous times, 2015 linebacker Adonis Thomas and, more importantly, his mother are impressed with Florida. Thomas is one of the most sought after linebackers in the 2015 recruiting class and at 6’4″, 217 lbs, it’s easy to see why. (Andrew Spivey, GatorCountry)

Stephanie Tofft Named National Player of the Week. One day after Florida third baseman Stephanie Tofft was named the SEC Player of the Week, she picked up bigger honors. Tofft was named the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division I National Player of the Week. And she deserved it. Tofft hit .700 (7-10) in the three-game sweep of Texas A&M. She had a double, six runs scored, 10 RBI, and a home run in each of the three wins over the Aggies. (GatorZone)

Carla Batchelor Joins Women’s Basketball. After having a successful 2013-14 season, Florida’s women’s basketball team is looking to go even farther next year. That starts with a good recruiting class. JUCO transfer guard/forward Carla Batchelor will join guard Dyandria (Dee) Anderson, forward Brooke Copeland, forward Haley Lorenzen, and guard Isis Young for the 2014 season. Batchelor will have two years of eligibility remaining with Florida. (GatorZone)
