Florida Gators Football: Strong Recruit Group Visiting this Weekend

With the Orange and Blue Debut, which signals the end of spring practice, just about a week away, the Florida Gators are continuing to work hard to make an impression on the coaching staff. While the Gator Nation’s eyes will on the Final Four Saturday night, spring practice on Friday and Saturday will be the focus of Florida football’s future. The Gators are hosting a huge contingent of elite recruits this weekend. Here’s a list of the dozen recruits visiting Gainesville (h/t GatorCountry, Zach Abolverdi, Rivals (rankings)):

WR Freddie SwainNorth Marion High School, Citra, FL – NR 6’1″, 194 lbs.

On the offensive side of the ball, there are a ton of talented receivers that could come in and contribute right away. They have great size and speed, although they’d need to learn the offense and crisper routes.

Meanwhile, on defense, Cowart and Jefferson steal the show. If Florida can get those two signed next recruiting class, their defensive line would gain a huge boost with two of the best prospects in the 2015 class.

The next chance fans have to see the Gators practice is next Friday, April 11 with the Orange and Blue game Saturday.
