Florida Baseball Games Delayed

The first game between the Florida Gators (16-9) and No. 4 LSU Tigers (20-5) was pushed back from Friday night to Saturday afternoon because of rain.  The first pitch of game one has been delayed further until 4 PM today.  The teams will play a double-header, both 9-inning games, and a single game on Sunday.

If the weather continues to cause delays then more changes could be coming to the weekend schedule.  Sophomore Eric Hanhold (3-2) is slated to start the first game for UF against junior Aaron Nola (5-0) for LSU.  Today’s schedule could turn into a single game with a double-header on Sunday.

Once the games are played, check back for a recap on Hail Florida Hail.  In the meantime, be sure to check out the men’s basketball team in the Elite 8 as they take on Dayton.  The winner (hopefully Florida) will advance to the Final Four.  That game starts at 6 PM.
