Ole Miss Rebels Ruin Florida Gators' Perfect Season

The Gators held Mississippi to only two runs, but the Rebels shut out the undefeated Florida team.

The Rebels scored their runs off a pair of doubles in the fourth and a solo home run in the sixth. The Gators had their chances to score but were unsuccessful in bringing anyone across the plate, including the fourth inning where the Gators left three aboard. Florida only tallied three hits and a walk while surrendering seven hits and two walks.

Hannah Rogers (9-1) gets credit for the loss, but not before striking out eight batters.

The Gators (22-1, 0-1 SEC) will have a chance to even the series Saturday at 2:00 PM.
