The good news keeps coming for Gator fans. It’s been a strong day in recruiting as Florida picked up their second four-star recruit in wide receiver/tight end Moral Stephens just minutes after offensive tackle David Sharpe announced his commitment. Rivals’ Blake Alderman broke the news via Twitter:
#Gators pick up second commitment of the day with Rivals250 TE Moral Stephens

Stephens later confirmed the news:
I just committed to the university of Florida #GatorNation

Stephens is a 6’4″, 200 pound prospect from nearby (to Gainesville) Taylor County High School in Perry, FL, who is projected by most as a wide receiver. But with his size, he has a chance to be a tight end as well. Those are definitely two positions of need for the Gators, especially with TE Kent Taylor announcing today he will be transferring. Stephens is a big, physical receiver who has great hands and the ability to catch the ball in traffic. Given the struggles of Florida’s receivers and the lack of pass catching tight ends, it seems possible he could see the field early in his career. Stephens gives Florida 18 commitments, with 11 of the in the ESPN300 and Rivals250.
