Georgia runningback practiced yesterday and looks probable for Saturday’s contest against the Gators. He missed all of October and still leads the Dawgs in rushing. Scary matchup for the Gators.
Kelvin Taylor was named the probable starter for Saturday’s game against Georgia by Will Muschamp Monday morning. “We’re working through the week and that’s probably what we’ll end up doing,” Muschamp said when asked about Taylor. This is after he looked good running the ball against Missouri and was the lone spark to an otherwise struggling offense.
Final NBA roster cuts were made over the weekend and both rookies Erik Murphy and Nick Calathes made their respective rosters. This puts the number of at 11. The season kicks off tonight (Tuesday, Oct. 29th). Stay tuned to see how the former Gators preform.
Former Gator Mike Pouncey was served a subpoena after his game against the New England Patriots on Sunday. It was “related” to the Aaron Hernandez investigation. More in this SI story.
