With Florida on a bye, fans could finally watch a high functioning offense. There were many games to choose from but what ended up being the most thrilling was South Carolina’s double overtime victory over Missouri.

Tiger fans believed this was the season. An undefeated season. And it was  sure looking like it in Columbia, until kicker Andrew Baggett lined up for a game tying 24 yard field goal in double overtime. The kick hit the left upright and bounced away harmlessly, giving South Carolina the win.

While initially every teary eyed Missouri fan looked toward Baggett, with replay we can see the laces were facing towards him. Thus everyone started to look to holder Braylon Webb. Missouri’s undefeated season is over but they still control their own destiny in the SEC East.

In other SEC scores, Alabama mauled Tennessee, and Texas A&M routed Vanderbilt.

The Gators get back at it next week as they take on Georgia. Interestingly enough, neither team is ranked. Guessing no one would have guessed that at the beginning of the season.
