  • Muschamp announced via Twitter (weird I know) that Jonotthan Harrison, Jeff Driskel, Solomon Patton, and Dominique Easley will be your Gator captains on Saturday.
  • It was also reported today by Gator Country and Luke Stampini that four Gators were suspended for Saturday’s game against Toledo. Loucheiz Purifoy, Latroy Pittman, Quinteze Williams, and Darious Cummings are the players who will be sitting out.
  • Saturday’s game time temperature is projected to reach about 90° F.
  • The line is set at -24 for the Gators. Don’t want to bring about bad memories, but you cannot forget about ULL.

GameDay Quote

  • “I look at it this way. There will probably be a package each week involved for him. … Can’t overload him because he’s got defense scheme he’s still got to worry about. But I think he’s a kid where we can give him the ball 3-4 times a game, and he’s still involved in the special teams like he is. He’s got potential where defenses got to be accountable to him.” – Brent Pease on Purifoy (h/t Only Gators)
