Twas the Night before signing day

And all through the Swamp

Not many creatures were stirring

And nary a Chomp

The coaches were smug

With the commitments they had

A top rated class

Already safe in the bag.

There’s Vernon, and Ahmad

Kelvin and Lane.

There’s Brantley, McMilan

top recruits all the same

Keanu and Washington,

Marcell Harris to boot

The Gators “No Fly Zone”

For Gators to root

Octavius and Dillard

Rod Johnson and Brown

Bring size and a mean streak

to pave the way on the ground.

Ivie and Sherit

Darius Cummings and Riles

Will anchor the D line

for many a while

At wideout there’s Thompson

Alvin Bailey and Hawk

D Rob the big flip

left Clemson fans all in shock.

Max Staver at qb

will come in to compete.

He couldn’t bring Ramsey

but there’ll be passes to complete.

Then there’s Anzalone and Rolin

Players Muschamp did flip

Don’t forget Jarrad Davis

A former Auburn commit.

As nightfall does settle

sun sets in the west.

There’s still a few recruits

on the Gators board left.

Will Bostwick and Clark

Sign on the dotted line

to take their talents northward

Towards the Ben Hill Griffin sign?

And what of Mackensie,

Bower and Reed?

Will they end up as Gators

or bait for Gators to feed?

As the coaches lay down

for a long winter’s night.

They can sleep all too soundly

With nary a fright.

While many coaches sweat out

the signing day rush.

Muschamp and company

can relax and have trust.

With the top class in the bag

there’ll be calm in the Swamp.
