It’s been an interesting weekend for sure to say the least. With Alabama winning the SEC title over Georgia by outlasting them 32-28, they will head to Miami on January 7th to take on Notre Dame for the BCS championship.

Stanford beat UCLA last night for the PAC-12 championship 27-24 and will head to the Rose Bowl on January 1st to take on surprise Wisconsin who shellacked Nebraska tonight 70-31 in the Big 10 title game.

Kansas State defeated Texas tonight 42-24 to claim the outright Big 12 title and the Fiesta Bowl berth that comes with it where they will likely take on PAC 12 at-large Oregon. They will meet in Phoenix, Arizona on January 3rd.

Florida State outlasted Georgia Tech in the ACC title game 21-15 and will head to the Orange Bowl to take on likely candidate Louisville January 1st in Miami.

Finally the Florida Gator, the SEC at-large team will likely take on Big 12 at-large the Oklahoma Sooners in a rematch of the 2008 BCS championship game.

Florida didn’t get to play for the big prize but this is a small consolation playing the Sooners in New Orleans in their own bowl on their own day January 2 at 8:30 pm eastern time.
