As expected, ESPN Top 150 recruit Marcell Harris pulled the trigger this morning for the Gators.
A four star safety out of Orlando, he is the son of former Gator safety Mike “Mud” Harris.
Besides the Gators, Harris was considering Texas, Florida State, and Oklahoma although he was long considered a Gator lean.
Harris is the 21st commit in this recruiting class for the Gators and rounds out a top rated defensive back class which includes top ranked corner back Vernon Hargreaves III as well as 4 star safeties Keanu Neal and Nick Washington.
Harris’ commitment adds to an impressive class that is currently ranked first in the ESPN team recruiting rankings.
