2014 four-star athlete Jalen Brown is one of the top 125 recruits in the class and has received offers from several major programs already. While the Florida Gators have not offered the safety/WR, better fit at wide receiver, the Gators are interested in the sixth best recruit in the state of Arizona.
Jalen Brown played a big role at safety and wideout in Mountain Pointe’s recent upset of Hamilton. He has received offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Arkansas, Virginia, Utah, Oregon State, Vanderbilt, Colorado, Nevada, Boise State, UCLA, and Nebraska. Oregon, Florida, Ohio State, and USC are four top programs with interest in the top 15 2014 receiver.
It will be interesting to see if Florida shows more interest in Brown going forward. Scout.com ranks him as the second best receiver in Arizona and the fourth best safety overall. There is no doubt that Brown has a high amount of ability on both sides of the ball, making him one of the most highly sought out athletes in this class.
The four-star Phoenix talent told 247Sports that he likes offense more, because he likes “attacking the defense”. He told Rivals.com that he wants to play on a team with a balanced offense that can “get him the ball enough”.
One more offer will give him 15 this early in the process, and eyes will be kept closely on the four big boys who have yet to offer- including Florida but mainly the other three.
