Andy Bean's Shot Predicts Florida Gators Will Win NCAA Championship

On Sunday, four Champions Tour golfers took to the roof of the Newport Beach Marriott in Newport Beach, CA as part of the Shot From The Top presented by the Toshiba Classic and UPS. The four attempted to land a shot on one of 68 different logos depicting the teams participating in this year’s NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. John Jacobs’ ball landed on Ohio State and Craig Stadler ended up with St. Mary’s. We can forgive Fuzzy Zoeller for landing his shot on Florida State, I guess, but it really got interesting when former Florida Gator great Andy Bean did this:

We’ll take it Andy and, yes, you’ve done your part; now it’s up to the basketball team to do its. And please PLEASE get Bean an orange and blue banner. That green one just doesn’t look right.

We all have to tip our hats to Bean for landing his shot on the one school that matters the most to him and all of us. Go Gators!
