The fury finally ended on Saturday with the commitment of Bushnell, FL (South Sumter) safety Keanu Neal. Neal became the sixth recruit to commit to the Florida Gators on Saturday alone and the 10th member of the 2013 recruiting class.

When all was said and done, the Gators had increased their class size from four to 10 and had jumped to the top of 247Sports’ team rankings.
Neal isn’t just another name on the list; he’s a good one at that. The safety received four-star status from Rivals.com and three from 247. The latter ranks him as the nation’s No. 26 safety. At 200 pounds already, there’s a chance Neal could end up as an outside linebacker in the mold of someone like Earl Everett (that’s our first Everett mention here at Hail Florida Hail and we couldn’t be happier).
